Cultural Activities
Bharati Vidyapeeth’s Dr.Patangrao Kadam Mahavidyalaya believes that the cultural activities are to develop students overall personality and to strengthen their self-confidence without regard to socioeconomic status. Access to spectrum of artistic expression and cultural experience is crucial to the development of healthy community and contributes to over all academic achievement and social well-being of our student population. We believe that cultural activities are an essential component of healthy communities which lead to development of values like educational, psychological, social, civic, physical, recreational values. Our college cultural committee team is headed by Principal and Cultural Convener.
Objectives of cultural activity:
- The main objective of cultural activity is to bring out the various hidden talents of the students.
- To develop specialized skills.
- To provide a platform for budding artists and musicians.
- To inculcate team sprite and to account for overall personality development of students.
Motivations to students:
- Our college motivates students to participate in various competitions like District Youth Festival, Central Youth Festival organized by Shiviji University, Kolhapur. Bhartiyam Kala Mahostava, Organized by Bharati Kala Academy, Pune and different competition organized by various social institutions.
- Students are encouraged to participate in these activities by providing the necessary instruments and other property.
- Our college motivates students by giving financial and academic full support for participation in various competition.
- Every year college organizes cultural events. In these cultural events we arrange many activities like celebration of different special days, events like Singing, Dancing, Fashion Show, Skit, One Act Play, Miming and Quiz competition.
- Every year college organizes prize distribution ceremony and Annual gathering.
- College organized ‘Bharatiyam Kalamahostav’ in collaboration with Bharti Kala Academy, Pune. (Bharati Vidyapeeth’s institutional event)
